LED VIDEO DISPLAYS, CONTROL ROOM, INFRASTRUCTURE CABLING, POS SYSTEM, HIGH DENSITY WI-FI
In tackling a new stadium build, AJP worked closely with the Saskatchewan Roughriders Football Club to design a massive primary scoreboard and multiple auxiliary LED boards to suit the architectural aesthetic goals of the space. AJP supported for the backend systems as well, infrastructure cabling, video replay control room and POS.
For Wi-Fi, the Football Club’s wireless network goal was to build enough capacity that half the stadium (16,000 people) could stream HD video at the same time. That goal was reached, with a network that simultaneously supports 33,000 concurrent connections. Extremely high LTE capacity has improved network performance and enhanced fan mobile experiences. In addition, AJP worked with the Roughriders to develop a robust infrastructure, including 22 miles of fiber backbone cables and 124 miles of CAT6 cable, resulting in enough TV broadcast cables to handle over 400 simultaneous video broadcast feeds.
“We have utilized the insight and expertise of AJP for many projects over the past several years. AJP continues to be a tremendous advocate and representative during both major renovations to our very old stadium and design process of an entirely new stadium. As we strive to enhance our fan experience, we are confident that AJP will help guide us through the ever-changing landscape of products, technologies and suppliers to give us the best value possible.”
