With an overall directive to make the arena’s network “the best Wi-Fi out there,” AJP walked the Heat through design, financial modeling and an RFP Process that engaged leading manufacturers and partners, like Cisco, Samsung and Xtreme, before awarding the team of Aruba and MS Benbow. AJP was also engaged for construction administration, bringing the project to completion in early 2018. Venue-wide Wi-Fi facilitated the Heat’s desire to completely digitize their ticketing system while enabling back-of-house operations such as mobile point-of-sale systems and merchandising to run more efficiently.
