With an overall directive to make the arena’s network “the best Wi-Fi out there,” AJP walked the Heat through design, financial modeling and an RFP Process that engaged leading manufacturers and partners, like Cisco, Samsung and Xtreme, before awarding the team of Aruba and MS Benbow. AJP was also engaged for construction administration, bringing the project to completion in early 2018. Venue-wide Wi-Fi facilitated the Heat’s desire to completely digitize their ticketing system while enabling back-of-house operations such as mobile point-of-sale systems and merchandising to run more efficiently.

“Fans want to see video replays and real time statistics, and they want to be able to share their experiences instantly with friends and family. We needed to introduce a Wi-Fi network that could meet those expectations… Not only do fans have easy access to the Wi-Fi throughout the Arena, but with the customer data we are collecting, we are able to personalize our interaction with new and returning guests and send automatic updates and information based on specific demographic criteria.”
