NEW VIDEO BOARD TO LIGHT UP DICK HOWSER STADIUM
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – With Opening Day of the 2018 season just one month away, fans entering Dick Howser Stadium this year will be greeted by one of the largest video boards in college baseball. Construction on the board is scheduled to be completed by the end of January.
“This is a new era for FSU baseball,” head coach Mike Martin said. “It should be a true fan favorite. More information, more video, more exciting – the new board will truly add excitement when you enter the grandstands and build onto our outstanding fan experience.”
The new Panasonic video board measures 60.5 feet wide and 32.75 feet tall, offering 1,981 square feet of video, nearly seven times larger than the previous video portion of the scoreboard that had been in place since the 2004 season. Only Mississippi State has a larger video board in college baseball.
