PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

LED DISPLAY SYSTEMS AND CONTROLS
AJP was contracted under Obermiller Nelson Engineering and worked with JLG Architects on the design and construction of Sacred Heart’s premier, $70 million hockey arena and natatorium complex, located on the University’s West Campus in Fairfield. AJP’s design work included a custom, modern center hung scoreboard and LED space ring with wooden architectural treatments, RGB lighting accents and branding positions.

LED SPORTS AND LIGHTING SYSTEM
AJP also provided design, performance specification, financial modeling, procurement, and construction administration for National Broadcast level LED Sports and Concourse Lighting system with RGB color change, including a refresh of work lights and DMX control. The system included over 40 moving lights, truss and motors, and arena hazing systems. AJP designed a front end for the all of the lighting controls with a new DMX lighting console and interoperability with BAS lighting.

AUDIO SYSTEM, VIDEO REPLAY SYSTEMS, IPTV, HIGH DENSITY WI-FI, BROADCAST CABLING
Predictive audio modeling ensured both intelligibility and creation of a visceral experience for fans. Control Room and TOC modeling provided a virtual look into production spaces before they were built. Scope included distributed displays to keep audiences engaged while visiting concessions outside the arena bowl. Discipline-related MEP requirements were submitted to the Project via CAD and Revit, integrating into the Project’s BIM solution.
