AJP was thrilled to support Clemson University on the conception, AV design, procurement and integration oversight of a first-of-its-kind Campus Digital Network. AJP worked in partnership with Clemson Athletics, Facilities, Student Affairs, Information Technologies, and JMI Sports Clemson Sports & Campus Marketing to develop a comprehensive communications platform.

The digital network is comprised of a system of 24 visual displays, including 11 custom interactive kiosks conceptualized by AJP. The freestanding, double-sided LCD digital displays feature IP security cameras, Samsung Electronics OH55F screens, and LED backlights. They provide real-time messaging of campus news, information and safety information to students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors, and add value for corporate sponsors through digital advertising opportunities. The first of 11 campus-wide placements was installed at Clemson’s Academic Success Center.

Exterior assets included eight LED displays installed at Memorial Stadium, and one exterior LED on the Library Bridge. Fine pitch indoor LED videowalls were integrated at Brackett Hall, the Hendrix Student Center, and the CORE Campus building.

AJP provided the project with design options and concept renderings, asset maps, a project timeline with assumed percentages and values of capital layout. Technical scope included the provision of Systems Line Diagrams; Electrical Requirements and Asset Weights; Data and Fiber Requirements; Low Voltage Pathway Requirements. For operations, AJP services included Factory Capacity Reviews; Factory Acceptance of Assets; Construction Administration; Schedule Management; On-site Installation Reviews; Punch lists and Final acceptance.
