PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

Anthony James Partners is proud of our ongoing partnership with the Toronto Blue Jays. The “Phase 2” latest Rogers Centre upgrade projects include the addition of more than two dozen LED displays (1,859 total square feet) throughout Rogers Center, and a major marquee highway sign on the south side of the building as part of a broader stadium renovation project.

Rogers Centre was conceptualized as a multi-purpose stadium when it opened in 1989 and had not previously undergone a large-scale renovation in its history. In 2022, the Toronto Blue Jays announced a $400 million privately funded renovation, to be completed between 2024 and 2025, with the goal of transforming Rogers Centre from a stadium into a ballpark through a series of projects focused on modernizing the fan experience and building world-class player facilities.

STADIUM-WIDE LED DISPLAY UPGRADES

Collaborating closely with the Toronto Blue Jays and architectural design lead Populous, the goal for Phase 2 involved elevating the in-game experience. One of the key highlights of the lower bowl renovation is the addition of a 36-foot, three-section LED display located behind home plate. This not only modernizes the visual appeal of the field but also enhances sponsorship opportunities through dynamic digital content. The upper fascia ribbon boards along both dugouts add to this modernization effort, providing seamless integration of messaging and branding during games.

The project also included of a 124-foot 200-level LED ribbon display, dugout displays, locker room screens, premium bar tickers, concourse video walls, and multiple field-level displays—all contributing to a fully immersive fan experience. These assets provide the Blue Jays with flexible, high-resolution signage that can easily be updated to reflect game-day needs and advertising opportunities.

All display technology was manufactured and installed by awarded vendor, SNA Displays.
