Anthony James Partners (AJP) is pleased to highlight the January 2025 completion of technology upgrades for the Gilbert Police Department’s state-of-the-art 911 public safety dispatch center. Engaged by MTI as the Commissioning Agent, AJP supported the project by commissioning Next Generation 9-1-1 technology, upgraded radio dispatch consoles, and a suite of advanced AV management systems. This Town of Gilbert, Arizona project involved a two-phase expansion of the dispatch center, which serves as a critical workspace for emergency dispatchers. Beginning in January 2023, the facility was transformed, doubling in size from approximately 4,500 square feet to 10,500 square feet. The enhanced communications center officially reopened in July 2024, offering improved capabilities and functionality. Master-planned to meet the requirements of a modern public safety operation, the upgraded facility includes 19 state-of-the-art dispatch consoles, an emergency operations center, a computer/communications equipment room, and supporting administrative spaces.
