Pennsylvania Convention Center

Digital Signage Network (Large-scale LED and LCD Displays)

Design, Procurement, Construction Administration

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

Anthony James Partners (AJP) served as technology consultant for the Pennsylvania Convention Center’s large-scale digital display modernization initiative, supporting planning, design, procurement, and construction administration from concept through completion. The project was developed to improve wayfinding, event communications, sponsorship activation, and operational flexibility while establishing a scalable digital communications platform capable of supporting future expansion.

The completed deployment includes more than 150 digital display endpoints and approximately 4,700 square feet of LED video wall technology integrated throughout the facility. Key elements include a 79-foot-wide digital ribbon display in the Broad Street Atrium, three 28-foot-high vertical LED displays, curved LED displays at major circulation intersections, a large-format LED installation within the Grand Hall, and a new LED display system within Nutter Theater.

The project also included the design and implementation of all supporting power, data, and low-voltage infrastructure required to support the facility-wide digital display network. UberDisplays served as the awarded LED display manufacturer and systems integrator.

KEY INSTALLATIONS

Broad Street Atrium
The project introduced a 79-foot-wide digital ribbon display within the Broad Street Atrium, creating a highly visible communications platform for event branding, sponsorship activation, wayfinding, and guest information.

Vertical Arrival Displays
Three 28-foot-high vertical LED displays were integrated into the facility’s upper circulation areas, creating a prominent digital communications platform capable of supporting event branding, sponsorship messaging, and facility-wide communications.

Wayfinding and Information Displays
LED and LCD displays were strategically deployed throughout the convention center to improve navigation, support event communications, and provide flexible messaging capabilities across the facility.

Grand Hall
The Grand Hall installation introduced a synchronized digital media environment featuring large-format LED displays integrated within one of the convention center’s most prominent public gathering spaces. The system was designed to support coordinated content presentation, event branding, sponsorship activation, announcements, and large-scale visual communications.

Nutter Theater
A new LED display system replaced the theater’s legacy projection system, improving image quality, reliability, operational flexibility, and overall presentation capabilities for meetings, conferences, and special events.
